Hair Buyers Want to Buy

It doesn’t matter if you have processed or natural hair. It very likely that you have hair buyers want to buy. Hair that people buy is defined by two classifications and categories, Virgin and Non-Virgin and Remy and Non-Remy hair. These are the terms buyers used to describe hair that they buy.

Virgin vs Non-virgin

Virgin hair is human hair that has not been chemically processed and is collected from a single donor(person). Thick healthy virgin hair 10 inches or longer is highly sought and sells for a high price.

Non-virgin hair is human hair that has been chemically processed or treated, dyed, bleached, permed, cut into layers or subjected to heat (hot irons, hair dryers, straighteners, etc …). This exposes the cuticles and weakens the hair. Non-virgin hair sells for a lower price than virgin hair.

Remy vs Non-Remy

Remy hair has hair that has all the cuticles intact and running in the same direction. It is free of tangling and looks natural. It tends to last longer because the cuticle is still intact.

Non-Remy hair is hair that has often been collected from the floor after it has been cut. The cuticles are not in the same direction. They are mixed.  Non-Remy hair undergoes chemical processing to shave off the cuticles which allows the hair to remain tangle-free.

Virgin Remy Hair

Virgin Remy hair is the most valuable. It is a combination of virgin and Remy hair, as its name suggests. It is the highest human hair quality. Virgin Remy hair is the rarest and most sought after. What makes it special is, it is hair in its natural state and has not undergo any type of chemical processing, coloring or treatment and all of the cuticles are in the same direction. Virgin Remy hair can last and look natural for two years or more with proper care.

Non-Virgin Remy Hair

This category of hair is not talked about. It is donor hair that has been colored, processed or treated. But unlike non-virgin hair, it is not collected from the floor after it has been cut. It is collected from a single donor and all the cuticles are in the same direction.

The second group of donors that offer their hair on our site have virgin remy hair. Their hair has never been colored, processed or treated and is collected in a manner that ensures that all the cuticles are in the same direction.
